A new warning about the dangers of poisonous creatures around the Monaro
has been issued following a recent incident where a Bombala resident was bitten by a
funnel web spider.
New South Wales ambulance is now asking people to be mindful that the
warmer temperatures has coincided with increased potential for bites
from both snakes and spiders as they leave hibernation in search of food.
